Softball Recap: Marion Harding Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four contests, Marion Harding finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They lost 19-1 to the Clear Fork Colts. The loss continues a trend for the Presidents in their meetings with the Colts: they've now lost nine in a row.

Abigail Hoertz was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double.

Marion Harding's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Clear Fork, their record is now 8-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Colts beat Marion Harding by a score of 12-2 on Wednesday.
