Basketball Recap: Christ Chapel Academy Comes Up Short

Christ Chapel Academy played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 91-43 loss at the hands of the Fairfax Christian Cardinals. Christ Chapel Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-27.

Christ Chapel Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was David Neaves, who posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Brandon Barnes, who had six points.

Fairfax Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Frank Siaca Bey led the charge by going 8 of 10 en route to 17 points and eight boards. What's more, Siaca Bey also racked up two steals, the most he's had since back in December of 2024. Trey Fitch was another key player, going 8 for 11 on his way to 16 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.
