Soccer Game Preview: Midland vs. Frenship

The Midland Bulldogs are taking a road trip to face off against the Frenship Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Midland's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Midland turned things around against Abilene on Tuesday. Neither they nor the Eagles could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Frenship hasn't lost a match since January 3rd, a trend which continued in their latest game on Friday. They played to a draw too, finishing 2-2 against Legacy.

Frenship's draw makes their record 5-1-2 this season. Meanwhile, Midland's record is now 3-4-2.

Midland came up short against Frenship in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, falling 3-1. Can Midland avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
