Recap: Conway Springs Cardinals vs. Trinity Celtics        
        
		
            
 The Conway Springs Cardinals had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26 points), and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They really took it to Trinity for the full four quarters, racking up a  41-6 win at home. Considering Conway Springs has won five matchups by more than 25  points this season,  Friday's blowout was nothing new.
  Brayden Kunz continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 274 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 13.7 yards per carry. Kunz's longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards. Another player making a difference was  Isaac Winter, who rushed for 96 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries.
 Despite the loss, Trinity still got an impressive performance from   Eric Armour, who picked up 254 receiving yards and  a touchdown.
 Conway Springs' win was  their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 7-2. It's not like the team was facing easy opposition over that stretch either, as it included 7-2 Medicine Lodge and 6-3 Sterling (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 63% over those games). As for Trinity, they are  on a three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-5.
 Conway Springs will look to defend their home field  on Friday against Stanton County at 6:00  p.m. Stanton County will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Kansas Rankings (they are ranked 205th, while Conway Springs is ranked 60th). As for Trinity, they will head out on the road to face off against Plainville at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
