Volleyball Recap: Plainfield South Takes a Loss

Plainfield South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bolingbrook Raiders. The Cougars were not able to make up for their loss to the Raiders from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-13.

Plainfield South's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Bolingbrook, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season.

Plainfield South will be taking part in a tournament against Lincoln-Way Central at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bolingbrook, they will host Joliet West at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
