Volleyball Game Preview: Spring Lake Lakers vs. Holland Christian Maroons

Spring Lake has won three straight games at home, while Holland Christian has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Wednesday. The Lakers will welcome the Maroons at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

If Holland wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Spring Lake, they should've done a better job of containing Ashlynn O'Donnell. The Lakers blew past the Dutch 3-0 on Monday with plenty of help from O'Donnell, who had 12 assists and seven digs. She has been hot, having posted 12 or more assists the last five times she's played.

Meanwhile, Holland Christian posted their closest win since September 23rd on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Zeeland East.

Spring Lake's win bumped their record up to 10-16-2. As for Holland Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 23-8.
