Softball Recap: South Extends Home Winning Streak to Six

While South's win against Salina Central wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cougars had just enough and edged out the Mustangs 4-2. The victory continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won seven in a row.

South pushed their record up to 2-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Salina Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-2.
