Basketball Recap: Brockton's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Marshfield, Brockton was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 66-57 victory over the Lawrence Lancers. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Boxers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Brockton's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-11. As for Lawrence, their loss dropped their record down to 5-12.

Brockton and Lawrence could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Massachusetts Rankings. Brockton will take on Durfee at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday down 146 places (218 vs. 72). Brockton is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home dating back to last season. Meanwhile, Lawrence (ranked 160th) will meet Tewksbury Memorial (ranked 35th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
