Palisades came into Tuesday's game having lost ten straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They had just enough and edged out the Berry Cardinals 2-1 on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for Palisades: when they faced off against Berry back in March, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

Nadia Majelli and Fredrickson Cierra scored both of Palisades' goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Palisades' win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 2-10. As for Berry, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Palisades is set to challenge their familiar foe Myers Park at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Berry will face off against rival South Mecklenburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
