Recap: Duluth Wildcats vs. Meadowcreek Mustangs
The Duluth Wildcats scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took down Meadowcreek 64-46. The win was a breath of fresh air for Duluth as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Duluth to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kaylie Zirger, who scored 21 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Zirger has scored all season. Saniya Simmons was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five steals.
Duluth's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-16. As for Meadowcreek, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Berkmar the next time they take the court. Meadowcreek will head out to face Berkmar at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Duluth will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
