Recap: Hartsville Red Foxes vs. Lake City Panthers
The Hartsville Red Foxes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 25 points or more this season. They took their game on the road on Friday with ease, bagging a 45-18 win over Lake City. The win was familiar territory for Hartsville who now have three in a row.
Hartsville was led to victory by Brooke Mitchell and Jazzy Frierson. Mitchell scored 14 points along with six rebounds and four steals, while Frierson scored 16 points along with nine rebounds and eight steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which Frierson has scored at least 25% of Hartsville's points. Another player making a difference was Tatiana Fisher, who scored six points along with seven rebounds.
Hartsville has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Lake City, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Hartsville's road trip will continue as they head out to face Goose Creek at 6:00 p.m. on December 30th. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Demi Gray and Frierson. As for Lake City, they will head out on the road to face off against Crestwood at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
