Recap: Greene County Wildcats vs. Bay Tigers
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pass Christian, the Greene County Wildcats were happy to have found some success on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 50-31 victory over Bay. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Greene County also won the last time the pair played on January 5th.
Tylan Blackston was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 23 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Brycen Johnson, who scored seven points along with two steals.
Greene County has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Bay, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-17.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Pass Christian the next time they take the court. Bay will head out to face Pass Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Greene County will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
