Brea Olinda won the last time they faced California, and things went their way on Friday too. The Brea Olinda Wildcats claimed a resounding 63-12 victory over the California Condors at home. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 323rd, while the Condors are ranked 726th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Brea Olinda had a senior duo take command as Nathan Aceves rushed for 118 yards and four touchdowns on only six carries and Cullen Doyle threw for 330 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 14.3 yards per attempt. Gavyn Nicholson was Doyle's top target, rushing for 67 yards and a touchdown.

Despite the loss, California still got an impressive performance from Joshua Ibarra, who rushed for 89 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, and also picked up 78 receiving yards and a touchdown. Ibarra got the majority of those yards when he took off on a run and that went for an incredible68 yards.

The win made it two in a row for Brea Olinda and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for California, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Brea Olinda will challenge Diamond Bar at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for California, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Segerstrom at 7:00 p.m.
