Football Recap: Triad Comes Up Short at Home Against O'fallon

Triad unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a hard 24-8 fall against the O'Fallon Panthers on Friday. The Knights were down 21-0 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Among those leading the charge was Almanzo Jackson, who rushed for 35 yards and two touchdowns.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Triad will challenge Washington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for O'Fallon, they will take on Troy-Buchanan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
