Soccer Recap: Rocky Mountain Takes a Loss

Rocky Mountain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Legend Titans. Rocky Mountain were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Legend apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2016.

Rocky Mountain's goal came courtesy of Alicyn Martinez, which was the first she's scored this season.

Rocky Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Legend, they now have a winning record of 2-1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rocky Mountain will take on Timnath at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Legend, they will challenge Castle View at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Castle View will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Legend surely won't give up without a fight.
