Long Island Lutheran had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Boys Latin Lakers , sneaking past 34-32.

Jacob Butler was nothing short of spectacular: he picked up 188 receiving yards and four touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 60 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Robinson, who threw for 294 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes.
