Baseball Game Preview: Raytown South Cardinals vs. Grandview Bulldogs

The Raytown South Cardinals will venture away from home to take on the Grandview Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Raytown South and six for Grandview.

Kearney hit Raytown South with a nine-run third inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Cardinals lost 13-3 to the Bulldogs.

Meanwhile, Grandview came up short against Winnetonka on Wednesday and fell 5-2.

Grandview saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Ransom, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Grandview's loss dropped their record down to 10-14-2. As for Raytown South, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-14.

Raytown South beat Grandview 3-0 in their previous matchup last Monday. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cardinals since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
