Patrick Henry waltzed into their game on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 36-35 W against the Salem Spartans. This was a revenge game for the Patriots: when they faced off against the Spartans back in January, they had to take a 50-42 loss.

Despite the loss, Salem still got an impressive performance from Gabby Crawley, who posted eight points along with six assists and four steals. Crawley is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Charli Wynn, who put up 11 points.

Patrick Henry pushed their record up to 15-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.8 points over those games. As for Salem, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 9-1 and their overall record down to 19-2.

Patrick Henry does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Salem, they will face off against Pulaski County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
