Baseball Recap: Denver West Comes Up Short

Denver West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 22-2 to the Alameda Pirates. That's two games in a row now that the Cowboys have lost by exactly 20 runs.

Denver West saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Angel Cortez, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Denver West's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Denver West will challenge Jefferson at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Alameda, they will face off against Denver South at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
