Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Edgewood

Edgewood entered their tilt with Cloverdale on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Clovers 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Mustangs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Edgewood was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-19, 25-16.

Edgewood's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kelianys Rosario-Aguilar led the charge by getting 16 digs and three assists. That's the most digs Rosario-Aguilar has posted since back in August. Cora Emmons was another key player, getting seven digs and one assist.

Edgewood's victory bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Cloverdale, they dropped their record down to 2-14 with the defeat, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.

Edgewood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Bloomington North on the 2nd. As for Cloverdale, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against White River Valley on the 2nd.
