Nathan Hurtado gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in February on Tuesday. He was dynamite, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off three hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
