Arcadia waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They blew past the Nandua Warriors 75-55. The Firebirds have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 20 points or more this season.

Arcadia's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jordan Cropper led the charge by going 8-for-20 on his way to 23 points and eight boards. The contest was Cropper's third in a row with at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Ryheim Pettit, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Arcadia smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in eight consecutive matchups.

Despite the loss, Nandua saw an underclassman step up: sophomore DaQuais Harmon went 6-for-9 to rack up 16 points. Harmon continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Mcintyre, who made all 5 shots he took to post 10 points.

Arcadia's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-5. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32.7 points. As for Nandua, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.

Arcadia wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 75-65 defeat against Lancaster on the 14th. As for Nandua, they have also already played their next contest, a 94-40 loss against Pocomoke on the 14th.
