The McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against the Johnson County Trojans at 5:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many goals in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.
On Tuesday, McIntosh County Academy kept a clean sheet against Montgomery County. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Eagles and snuck past 1-0. McIntosh County Academy's winning goal came courtesy of Madison Waters.
Meanwhile, Johnson County was the victim of a rough 8-1 loss at the hands of Screven County on Friday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Johnson County was already down 4-1.
