Iona Prep entered their tilt with Salesian on Tuesday with ten consecutive wins dating back to last season, and they'll enter their next game with 11. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 two weeks ago.

Iona Prep never let Salesian on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-17, 25-22.

Brett Muscatella paced Iona Prep's offense, picking up 13 kills. Muscatella got some help from Alexander Longsworth and his 14 assists. Jacob Chiu controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Iona Prep's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. As for Salesian, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
