Basketball Recap: Celeste Comes Up Short

If Celeste was feeling good fresh off their 70-17 takedown of Non Varsity Tournament Opponent on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Celeste Blue Devils fell just short of the Boles Hornets by a score of 55-53 on Saturday. The Blue Devils were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hornets earlier this season, when they won 57-43.

Celeste now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Boles, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-8.

Celeste wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 44-43 victory against Alba-Golden on the 28th. Boles has also already played their next game, a 57-46 defeat against Saltillo on the 28th.
