It was a good run, but Leo unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Heritage Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on April 12th.

While Leo ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-21, 25-27, 25-19.

Heritage found their leader in sophomore Chase Buuck, who had 19 digs and four aces. Those 19 digs set a new season-high mark for Buuck.

Leo's defeat dropped their record down to 14-4. As for Heritage, they pushed their record up to 12-2 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Leo didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Fort Wayne Snider on the 3rd. As for Heritage, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Carroll on the 1st.
