Volleyball Recap: Easley Takes a Loss

Easley lost against Walhalla back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Green Wave fell just short of the Razorbacks by a score of 2-1.

Easley started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-17, 15-12.

Their offense was headlined by Claire Bivens and McKenzie Karr, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Kate Kelley and her 14 assists. Finally, Catherine Barrington kept Easley's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

Easley now has a losing record of 1-2.

Easley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Woodruff on the 16th. As for Walhalla, they will be playing at home against Seneca at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
