Volleyball Game Preview: Tonganoxie Chieftains vs. Topeka Trojans

The Tonganoxie Chieftains will challenge the Topeka Trojans on Saturday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Tonganoxie turned things around against Leavenworth on Thursday. They came out on top against the PIONEERS by a score of 2-0.

Tonganoxie never let Leavenworth on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Topeka beat Leavenworth 2-0 on Monday.

Topeka now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Tonganoxie, their win bumped their record up to 11-7.

Tonganoxie was able to grind out a solid victory over Topeka when the teams last played back in September of 2024, winning 2-0. Do the Chieftains have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Trojans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
