Basketball Game Preview: Pauls Valley Panthers vs. Marlow Outlaws

The Pauls Valley Panthers will take on the Marlow Outlaws at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.

Pauls Valley came up into this matchup off a tough 46-point loss on Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Lindsay by a score of 31-29 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 209th, while the Leopards are ranked 86th).

Meanwhile, Marlow entered their tilt with Comanche on Friday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 37-33 W against the Indians.

Marlow's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 11-12. As for Pauls Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season.
