Basketball Recap: Marion's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lafayette Jefferson, Marion was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Adams Central Flying Jets by a score of 58-50.

When it comes to explaining why Adams Central lost, don't look at Ava Stafford. Despite the final result, she almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine assists. Stafford is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games she's played. Another player making a difference was Ellie Ogg, who posted nine points and five rebounds.

Marion's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-13. As for Adams Central, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-15.
