While Liberty's win against Colfax wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lancers skirted past the Bulldogs 2-1. The victory continues a trend for the Lancers in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won five in a row.

Jordyn Jeske made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 16 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.

Jeske wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Lillie Unruh, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Liberty pushed their record up to 14-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Colfax, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season.

Liberty does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Colfax, they will challenge Asotin at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
