Lewiston is 8-2 against Moscow since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Bengals will square off against the Bears at 2:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Having struggled with four losses in a row, Lewiston turned things around against Post Falls on Saturday. They walked away with an 8-3 win over the Trojans.

Lewiston got a great performance from Jayden Estlund as he tossed 6.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. Estlund has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Lewiston let Keatan Phillips and Jackson Casey run wild. Phillips scored a run while going 3-for-4, while Casey scored a run while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits Phillips has posted since back in April of 2024.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Moscow, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They walked away with a 6-1 victory over Pullman on Saturday.
Butch Kiblen tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out ten over six innings pitched. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Moscow is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 3-4 otherwise.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Gunnar Holloway, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was his first of the season. Dan Fitt was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
Moscow's win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-5. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Lewiston, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Lewiston might still be hurting after the 6-0 defeat they got from Moscow in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Bengals avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
