Preview: Lennard Longhorns vs. Bloomingdale Bulls
The Lennard Longhorns's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Bloomingdale Bulls on February 8th. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the pair posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Even though Lennard has not done well against Tampa Bay Tech recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Lennard walked away with a 60-48 win over Tampa Bay Tech.
It was another big night for Richard Sykes, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Nigel Roseboro, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, with a playoff game on the line, Bloomingdale rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 64-37 win over the Hawks. The win was nothing new for Bloomingdale as they're now sitting on seven straight.
Lennard's win bumped their record up to 9-15. As for Bloomingdale, their victory bumped their record up to 19-7.
Lennard came up short against Bloomingdale in their previous meeting back in January, falling 67-57. Can Lennard avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
