Recap: South Mountain vs. Central
South Mountain didn't get the result they wanted in their first match with Central on Thursday. They put up a good fight, but they still had to settle for second after a 2-1 defeat on Thursday. They have not had much luck with Central recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
South Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5-2. As for Central, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Mountain will square off against Higley at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Higley will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Central, they will head out on the road to square off against Sierra Linda at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
