Football Game Preview: Highlands Bluebirds vs. Elder Panthers

The Highlands Bluebirds will venture away from home to challenge the Elder Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Highlands comes in on three and Elder on seven.

Highlands is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Kentucky's top teams: Covington Catholic, who was ranked 18th at the time (Highlands was ranked tenth). The Bluebirds had just enough and edged out the Colonels 31-28.

Tayden Lorenzen was his usual excellent self, rushing for 81 yards and three TDs, while also catching one score.

Meanwhile, Elder gave up the first points on Friday, but they didn't give up any more after. They came out on top against Archbishop Moeller by a score of 24-16.

Highlands' record is now 6-1. As for Elder, their record now sits at 7-0.
