Volleyball Recap: Creekside Falls Short Against Ranked Horizon

Creekside faced Horizon in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Knights fell 2-0 to the Hawks. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tyce Donnelly paced Creekside's offense, picking up 11 kills. Donnelly got some help from Andrew Bennie and his 29 assists.

Creekside's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Horizon, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Creekside wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Tampa Bay HEAT on the 5th. As for Horizon, they will venture away from home to face off against Freedom at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Patriots will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Hawks surely won't give up without a fight.
