Basketball Recap: Lewisburg Comes Up Short

Lewisburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They came up short against the Southaven Chargers, falling 53-28. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 251st, while the Chargers are ranked 69th).

Lewisburg's loss dropped their record down to 3-26. As for Southaven, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-7.

As of now, neither Lewisburg nor Southaven have any future games scheduled.
