Basketball Recap: Tuscarora Takes a Loss

Tuscarora was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 51-47 heartbreaker at the hands of the Governor Thomas Johnson Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 31-26 back in January.

Tuscarora's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Governor Thomas Johnson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-14.

Tuscarora wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 63-35 defeat against Linganore on the 18th. As for Governor Thomas Johnson, they have also already played their next contest, a 36-29 victory against North Hagerstown on the 18th.
