After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Granite Bay, Davis Sr. was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Everything went their way against the Whitney Wildcats as the Davis Sr. Blue Devils made off with a 3-0 victory.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-18, 25-20.
Davis Sr. was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Whitney only served five.
Davis Sr.'s win bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Whitney, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season.
Davis Sr. will welcome Del Oro at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Whitney, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against St. Francis at 6:30 p.m.
