            Softball Recap: Valley Rams vs. Beulah Bobcats        
        
		
        
        
            Valley had lost four straight on the road, but  on Saturday they dropped their record down to 7-20 to make it five. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost  12-6 to the Beulah Bobcats, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season,  with their most recent  loss being a  12-6  defeat  on Thursday.
As for Beulah, the  victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-15-1. Those  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.7 runs over those games.
For Beulah's part,  Madyson Snedigar made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Snedigar has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases, two  RBI,  and one  run.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Madison Tapley, who  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI, one  triple,  and one  run. Another player making a difference was  Lilly Grant, who  went 1-for-3 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI.
 Coincidentally, Valley and Beulah will both be playing Smiths Station the next time they take the field. The Rams will  host the Panthers at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday, while the Bobcats will play them later in the day, at 1:00  p.m.
