Gilbert entered their tilt with Queen Creek on Friday with ten consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 11. They really took it to the Queen Creek Bulldogs for the full four quarters, racking up a 56-23 win. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Gilbert's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isabella Ivy, who posted 11 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Sophia Taylor, who went 6 for 9 on her way to 13 points and five boards.

Gilbert smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards every time they've taken the court this season.

Despite the loss, Queen Creek saw an underclassman step up: freshman Amaya Rodgers put up 12 points in addition to eight rebounds and five steals. That was a full 52.2% of Queen Creek's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Samarah Garduno, who scored nine points.

Gilbert's win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.2 points over those games. As for Queen Creek, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-19.

Coming up, Gilbert will head out on the road to face off against Higley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Higley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.2 points per game this season. As for Queen Creek, they will be playing at home against Williams Field at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
