Lutheran North waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 57-7 win over the Lutheran South Lancers. Given the Crusaders' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri football rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while the Lancers are ranked 288th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lutheran North's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Lutheran South, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lutheran North is set to square off against their familiar foe MICDS at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Lutheran South will challenge rival Westminster Christian at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
