On Thursday, the Lopez Lobos strolled past the Hidalgo Pirates with points to spare, taking the game 28-14. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lobos.

Lopez got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Guadalupe Ramirez out in front who threw for 267 yards and three touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes.
