Baseball Recap: Hoosic Valley Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Hoosic Valley's offense. They came up short against the Voorheesville Blackbirds on Thursday, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Hawks' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Hoosic Valley now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Voorheesville, they now have a winning record of 1-0-1.

Hoosic Valley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 5-4 win against Mechanicville on the 11th. As for Voorheesville, they will square off against Lansingburgh at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Blackbirds their first taste of in-conference action this season.
