Volleyball Recap: North Branch Takes a Loss

North Branch was the 2-0 winner over Sauk Rapids-Rice when they last played one another back in October of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Vikings fell 2-0 to the Storm on Friday. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

North Branch was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-18.

North Branch now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Sauk Rapids-Rice, their victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-1.

Coming up, North Branch will venture away from home to challenge Chisago Lakes Area at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sauk Rapids-Rice, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Wayzata on the 10th.
