Volleyball Preview: El Dorado Aztecs vs. Horizon Scorpions
El Dorado has gone 9-1 against Horizon recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:40 p.m. El Dorado will be strutting in after a win while Horizon will be coming in after a defeat.
On Tuesday, El Dorado was able to grind out a solid victory over Bel Air, taking the game 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Aztecs.
The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 24-26, 25-18, 25-16.

El Dorado got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Natalia Ruiz out in front who had 40 digs and two aces. That's the most aces Ruiz has posted since back in September. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Garcia, who had 11 digs and one block.
They weren't the only good servers: El Dorado was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 11 consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Horizon came up short against Del Valle on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Scorpions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Del Valle scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-21, 25-20.
Horizon's defeat dropped their record down to 10-22. As for El Dorado, their victory bumped their record up to 13-17.
