Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Brandon Academy). They really took it to Pepin Academy for the full four quarters, racking up a 92-30 victory. The Scorpions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Brandon Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aaron Miller-Holmes, who went 7 for 8 on his way to 18 points along with five assists and three steals. Miller-Holmes is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last nine games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Nigel Pinnock, who made all 6 shots he took to post 14 points in addition to five assists and three steals.

Miller-Holmes wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Brandon Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 28 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Brandon Academy's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 34.7 points. As for Pepin Academy, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Brandon Academy will look to defend their home court on Friday against American Youth Academy at 5:00 p.m. Brandon Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully American Youth Academy likes a good challenge. As for Pepin Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Universal Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
