Soccer Recap: Epiphany Victorious

While Epiphany's win against Wayne Christian wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Falcons won by a goal and slipped past the Eagles 2-1.

Wood Mattocks was the driving force of Epiphany's attack as he scored both of Epiphany's goals, bringing his season total up to four goals.

Epiphany's victory bumped their record up to 5-13. As for Wayne Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-12-2 record this season.

Epiphany wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Faith Christian on the 7th. As for Wayne Christian, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Arendell Parrott Academy on the 9th.
