Volleyball Recap: SA S' Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

It was a good run, but SA S unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Holy Cross Knights. The Saints were not able to make up for their defeat to the Knights from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

SA S' offense was headlined by Megan Claborn and Coraline Guerrero, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Sophia Coignet and her nine assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

SA S' loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Holy Cross, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. SA S will venture away from home to square off against Geneva at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Holy Cross, they will challenge Lytle at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
