Weymouth won the last time they faced Hingham and things went their way on Thursday too. Weymouth walked away with a 5-1 win over Hingham. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Will Shanahan looked comfortable as he struck out seven batters over 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk).

At the plate, Andrew Daley was excellent, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Weymouth's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Weymouth will square off against Framingham at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hingham, they will head out to challenge North Quincy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
